Lionel Messi

Hello everyone, 

This is our #6 blog.

So what happened to Messi when he visited La Masia, how did he spent his days in the academy ?

He was just 13 years old when he went to La Masia, and lots of people doubted him as he was extremely small, thin and did not looked like a future world class footballer. He was bullied almost everyday in the dressing room, but we all know that every hero has a rough  beginning. 

Messi, "My teammates were big, rough and kinda assholes if I'm honest, plus they didn't really paid attention to me, and they'd speak Catalan between them."

The guys later told him that, they are going to talk to the coach and say that this guy who comes from abroad, he can't stay here, we need to kick him out.

He was all alone in a strange city, with his dad, his mother and his rest of the brothers were back in Rosario.

Messi,"I cried a lot, I would lock myself in a room and cry my eyes out in secret, I didn't want my dad to find out that I was crying. I felt lonely over there."

So this is it for today in my next blog i am going to tell you about, how Messi bounced back, and was the best in the team.
